What does organic olive oil mean?
"Organic" on a label only means something if a body verified it.

Organic is not a flavour or nutrition claim — it is a claim about method. It tells you how the olive trees were grown and how the oil was handled, and it can be audited.
What it governs
- No synthetic pesticides or fertilisers
- Soil and water management to a defined standard
- Separation from non-organic produce during processing
- Traceable records from grove to bottle
- Periodic audit by an independent certifying body
The bodies that matter
Ecocert, USDA Organic and EU Organic each have written standards and an audit process behind them. The word "organic" without one of these is backed by nothing. Olivko holds all three.
Organic and extra virgin are two different things. An oil can be organic but low quality, or extra virgin but not organic. Olivko is both.
